Sturry Parish Council provides a variety of invaluable services to the villages we serve. Much of this revolves around the outdoor green areas which we are proud to support to allow residents to take exercise and enjoy their natural environment as much as possible. Facilities such as the outdoor gym (pictured), the flood-lit games area and the play equipment which fills the children’s play-parks of this area are nearly all owned and maintained by the Parish Council.
In addition to this the Parish Council is responsible for Sturry Public Toilets, the Centenary Woodland, the Closed-Churchyard at St Nicholas’ Church, Sturry Cemetery, Christmas Lights and a wide variety of street furniture including a number of dustbins, benches and bus shelters. If you have a question about specific items or issues you are facing, please feel free to get in contact with the Parish Office will be happy to help!
