Situated just outside of the historic City of Canterbury, the heart of the Anglican world, it should come as no surprise that Sturry Parish has a number and variety of churches and other places of worship. From the magnificent Norman Church of St Nicholas’ in Sturry (pictured) to the Broad Oak Chapel and more recent Roman Catholic Church of St Dunstan in Hersden our Parish has a great deal to offer visitors and residents with a religious-inclination or interest.
Many of the churches and chapels in Sturry Parish and the surrounding area fall under the Sturry and District United Anglican-Methodist Church, information and contact details of which can be found on their website: http://www.sturrychurch.org.uk/. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark’s Parish Directory provides further details of the Church of St Dunstan, Hersden http://directory.rcsouthwark.co.uk/hersden_st_dunstan.html.
