Age Concern 
We bring people in to our day centre Sunday- Friday for fresh lunches, advice and information, hairdressing, toenail cutting, computer lessons, benefits advice, form filling and companionship particularly for the frail and lonely.

Dial-Kent
Dial – Kent gives free confidential information and advice to the disabled people of Kent. We give information on many questions including benefits, Adaptions Access holidays and other organisations plus lots more. “Dial” also has a wheelchair hire scheme.

Necessary Furniture
We collect donated furniture and other household effects in good condition and provide them at a low cost to clients from a list provide by the Social services, Cyreniens and Citizens Advice Bureau. Clients can also refer themselves if they have evidence of being on benefits.

As well as providing an access guide to Canterbury this service covers lots of other cities and areas across the UK and Ireland you may want to visit. You can also look for job vacancies, information about universities and colleges and to catch up on the latest news. On the recently launched community forum you can post comments, start discussions and advertise upcoming events.
