You can now do the following at the Parish Council Office at 38 High Street, Sturry (from 9am to 12 noon only):-
- Collect your recycling bags
- Collect your dog poop scoop bags
- Collect a Residents Card Application Form
- Collect a Postal Voting Form
- Collect a Free Bus Permit Application Form
- Recycle Computer Printer Ink Cartridges (proceeds to Sturry Primary School)
- Recycle old mobile and other phones (proceeds to Guide Dogs for the Blind)
- Recycle your old postage stamps (proceeds to Guide Dogs for the Blind
- Collect a Welcome Pack for new residents living in Broad Oak, Sturry and Hersden full of useful information about the Parish and local organisations
- Collect a Crime Prevention Pack
- Collect a Datalink Canister - if you suddenly become ill or have an accident and any of the emergency services attend the canister, which you keep in your fridge, will contain details of what illnesses you suffer from and what medicines you are taking. (Full instructions for use of the canister are included)
- Pick up a range of information leaflets, including information on free legal services for a range of legal problems
- Pick up an information booklet on Clubs & Organisations in Sturry, Broad Oak and Hersden which gives you contact details if you wish to join any of them and includes other useful local contact telephone numbers
- Get information on the Kent Karrier Dial-a-Bus Service and Canterbury Volunteer Car Scheme. Both are subsidised shemes for people needing help to travel to shops, medical appointments etc.
- Buy a tea towel depicting places in Sturry. Cost £3.00. Proceeds to St. Nicolas Church
- Buy the 2010 Calendar. Cost. £5.00. Proceeds to St. Nicholas Church
