Sturry Church has a coffee morning every Thursday from 9.45- 11.45 where you can get teas and coffee and there are also stalls with cakes bric-a-brac, greetings cards and Traidcraft goods etc.

Guiding in Sturry
Guiding in Sturry comprises of four units, Rainbows,(5-7), two Brownie units,(7-10), and a Guide unit (10-14). The units are run by trained volunteers, and undertake a variety of activities including camping, bowling, visits to outside organisations to name but a few.

Sturry Explorers
Is the senior secion of Scouts, catering for boys and girls aged between 14 and 18. They are encouraged to plan their own activities which typically include Ice Skating, Bowling, Camping, Hiking, Quiz Nights, Games Evenings, learning to climb, learning to shoot (air rifles), traditional Scout skills, camp fires, sailing, canoeing and even parascending.
